Rapid Design Challenge

I took on the challenge of creating an eLearning course in 72 hours in the Evolve platform.

The goal of this course was to help learners make choices to minimize the impact of ultraprocessed foods (UPFs) in their diet. Here are some of the design problems addressed in this course:

• Drawing on learners' personal experience by surveying their knowledge and consumption of UPFs

• Giving opportunities to apply by having learners reflect on application strategies

• Adapting to varying motivations and attitudes with nonjudgmental language and moments for reflection

• Appealing to emotion with acknowledgement of socioeconomic factors in nutritional inequality

• Leveraging problem-based and scenario-based learning to facilitate real-world transfer
